Friday 7th December

CHRISTMAS!!!!!!!!! We began this festive season with the amazing Henleaze
Christmas bazaar in the hall. Santa was in his grotto handing out some prezzies and the choir sang magically. Also many children marched, with their lanterns, around the dark and spooky playground. AHHHH!!! On the 1st of December our first lucky pupil, in class 2, was drawn out of the box for the new and delicious looking advent calendar.

In addition to that, Year Six went to an electrifying and heart-rending performance of Dickens classic novel, Oliver Twist, being showcased at Redland High School for Girls. They were extremely courteous and gave each of us a goody bag to take home, but they did not show us the entire masterpiece so as to invite us to the final showing on Saturday.

Literacy this week began with watching the seasonal film- The Snowman. We will create an account of this story in any genre we like. The story was brilliant and we all hope ours will be too.

So all in all we had another eventful and brilliant week leading up to Christmas. "See ya."
